Celina came to Emma’s Torch after years in the culinary industry as a pastry cook and Sous Chef at Jean-Georges Restaurant, and the opening Executive Pastry Chef at The Hoxton in Williamsburg. While her journey began with desserts, it soon developed into a love for operations and hospitality management. Celina sees operations as a way of empowering people to do the things they love to do by creating effective and easy-to-use systems. She is especially eager to share her love for front-of-house operations with Emma’s Torch’s students.

Celina earned her degree in Classical Pastry Arts from the International Culinary Center in SoHo. In her free time, she likes to collect art, take care of her houseplants and new puppy, Moose, and spend time with her loved ones.
